MRC.FM. Its a REMIX-ONLY internet station and self proclaimed “internet’s first 24/7 radio station from a radio jingle production company.”

I started working in small market radio in Kentville, Nova Scotia Canada doing on air, cruiser and commercial production. Then came to Newcap Radio in Halifax, Nova Scotia for the past 7 years as commercial producer, and imaging producer for Q104.

I had this little thing sitting around unfinished for a while. Finally finished it. Its basically what I heard every time I heard the Taken 2 trailer.

Efficiency and Creativity. The question: Is it better to start a new session or try to repurpose an old one?

A recent project for ebay. I only did the VO, not the video. I thought this one came out pretty good.  The video is really fun too!

The video tutorial was conducted by Lou Medina at TM Studios for 360 Country. I commandeered it. I saw him doing this with some muddy VO and asked him to put the trick to video.

If you haven’t heard Neal’s work you are missing out. To me its exactly what it should be. Ultra-creative, Cutting edge and COOL…

I have never I do not know if I have ever been the victim of purchasing fake gear. I don’t think that I have but it does come up from time to time.

Ernie Anderson, the VO guy famous for ABC’s “The Love Boat” and many more, started in Cleveland. He also did a late night goofy-comedy-while-showing-scary-movies show.

I LOVE new imaging sound design fx. I LOVE the content over at Wrong Planet. They just released a new FX pack called “50 Calibre FX.”

James Stodd, now the Senior Producer at Celador Radio, is an imaging/station sound producer I have respected for some time and he has a shiny and fresh new job to talk about (see earlier in this sentence and lower in the interview)!

I hope if you do work in radio, on air or not, you DO NOT just discount this guy as crazy. He is a music fan and a guy who listens to the radio. He is doing the industry a free service and giving us feedback. Its honest and passionate and perhaps not so untrue.
